To all Final Fantasy fans, what’s your favorite mini game from any game in the series?
My favorite is the Blitzball game from Final Fantasy X (and not the one from X-2).
So which Final Fantasy's mini games have you played? In FFVII they had a few at the Golden Saucer with the main one being Chocobo Racing. I haven't played FFVIII so I don't know what they had in that. In FFIX they had that card game.

i never played 10 either so without having played blitzball i don't think i can judge.
FFVIII had a triple triad card game. That was quite cool as there was a reason to play. One of the GFs has a card-mod ability so you can change cards to rare items which you can use to refine magic and what not.

How was FFVIII compared to FFVII and FFIX? I really liked FFVII. FFIX was good too, but I like it the least of all the FF games I've played so far.

Well my favourite was FFVII so for me that's unbeatable. Initially I didn't like FVIII but with replays I appreciated it more and more.
IX on the other hand I found very linear and non-challenging (apart from some battles), the storyline was kinda blaaah too.
VIII changes it up. You don't want to level up too much, it's better to stay at a low level and get all the boosts you can. You have to be more imaginative in how you fight a lot of the time too if you want to get the most out of the game. The characters are annoying to begin with but later most people find them endearing. The storyline has a few too many soppy moments but all in all it's pretty solid. I think any FF game is going to find it difficult to have an villain that can top FFVI's Kefka or FFVIII's Sephiroth/Jenova but Edea is pretty spooky.
Oh, and after FVII, FVII probably has the best score (music).

I felt the same way about FFIX. So I think I would enjoy FFVIII.
