Does anyone know of where I can buy wedding favor boxes or cones from rawalpindi or islamabad? Are they sold at wedding card shops?? Does anyone know of any specific location?

dear we bought favour boxes for bidh and mithaee from urdu bazar rawalpindi.there r many design of boxes ,cones ,pouches but make sure sigma is almost double in price as mostly people got every style from sigma but if u make a survey and visit the shops which are inside small street KAMRAN printers ,Mughal printers they will offer u same cards and favour boxes in almost half price then sigma .If u need further advice then let me know ......i will send u the pics of our boxes and contact nos.

yes u can buy the boxes from the wedding card shops and printers .They also print name of bride and groom or any kind of saying or wishes on mugs,keychains or other stuff which u can buy on cheap price from wholesale market.

we had 2 different sizes of boxes one is small for dry fruit,pepperments,sweets etc and the other one is for mithaee which is large and had capicity of 300 gms of mithaee …

these boxes had the same font and style which was used in wedding cards and the same printer in urdu bazar made all the stuff.these r small boxes used for dry fruits and sweets etc.

But this favor box we give to whom? To all guests or like within family to few ppl like Mother in Law, Father in Law, Nand etc ?
I donot think I have seen them in any weddings I have attended. Is it a new trend?

these favour boxes r given to the guests on barat day from groom side but bride side also distribute mithaee in these boxes after wedding.............in old days like 10 years ago we use tissue cloth of 8 by 8 pieces of different colours and put suparis ,sweets,chowaras and dry fruit and made pouches and bound with ribbons .then gave on barat day of my brother..............................its old tradition with new look in boxes or cones or in printed mugs fill with dry fruit........................

u will give these favour boxes to inlaws,ypur friends and ur own family............................every one .we had almost 400 guests but we made 300 boxes ....and distribute boxes to atleast one member of each family in ladies side and one from gents side

oh yeah i know about the sweets n chowaras pouch thing...lol . Gosh was that 10yrs back??? I thought ppl were still doing that.

Favour boxes are updated bidh packets. The tradition of distributing dry fruits, nikkah ke chuaray and supari has updated and evolved into favour boxes. They come in loads of styles and price options.
