Fauzia knew the rules all along. She could have surrendered her US nationality ages ago, and could have run in the intra party elections. She would have won by a landslide. She chose to let it be till the last moment, perhaps hoping it wont be required.
It is not Imran's job to interfere in the operations of any internal department. It he does, then out goes the concept of democracy and merit.

As for merit, does anyone think that Party observed merit putting FK at number 4 on women seat?
Obviously, no one forced her to abandon American citizenship, but she felt she is more committed to party than keeping American nationality, and that was show of commitment to the cause she believed she was standing. That certainly must have attracted many voters to party.
Lagta hay, Fauzia Kasuri ko ‘Imran Khan’ kee baton aur wadoon per bharosa hou giya tha … just like many women have done on Imran words and promises.
Those who could not give justice to their own top party member, how can anyone expect that they would give justice to ordinary Pakistani?

I know that Shireen Mazari, Munazza Hassan and Fauzia kasuri is working for PTI since ages. Ayla Malik joined party around 2 years ago and has very little contribution to party (other than campaigning for Imran in his constituency). Fauzia Kasuri was President of PTI women wing until March 2013, and was with party since last 17 years (what I remember).
We can also see that all four women names are in the list, that means, when the list was made and forwarded to EC, all 4 were qualifying.
To qualify does not even need party position or need of taking part in party election. Only need should be, who qualify on merit for women list, and merit is related to a person contribution to party most. I think on merit, Fauzia kasuri should have been No 1 or No 2 on the list (most likely, number 1) … certainly not 4.
It does not matter if she would have got elected on reserved seat even on No 1, but to be at No 4 it was unjust ... Zulum man Zulum . :)
Well, if she did not qualified on women seat, than it would have been appropriate for party to ask her to contest on seats that PTI won (Imran won 3 seats) and is going to abandon for by-election. But … no, I do not think she was even offered that.

The numbering was done on merit. Just because you spend more time with a party doesnt automatically give you higher merit. There are other factors as well. Plus, it is a decision made by consensus...not a one man show.
And from what I know, so far, no announcement has been made on who will run on the seats vacated by IK and JH. So for all we know,she may have been asked to run from one of IKs seats. But she didnt wait for that.
Finally, as Jolie said, at least the party has enough democracy to allow such disagreements, even though it was distasteful the way she publicly aired her grievances. Had she been in MQM, we would have been searching for her.

I feel bad for her. She made the historic decision of giving up US citizenship for PTI. Who else has set this example? She does deserve some respect. She's been with PTI during all the tough days. She's no LOTA. The problem is, PTI has ton of trolls and the present situation is exactly Post-russia Afghan era where Afghan mujahideen factions started fighting with each other. My prediction is that PTI will get far more losses due to these inside trolls. If i'd be an authority in PTI, I would never let her go like that.
So, does that make imran dostum or dr. najibullah?

Sister, how can you accuse me of what you wrote? I am not taking any political dig or dragging women into it. I was asked if I am Imran Khan kid or Jamima herself .. or one of the victimised ex-women of IK (read post Atifb … post 126).
Obviously, he had some misunderstanding to consider me Imran Khan kid. I replied that I am not IK kid, but IK kids are those who fight on internet for IK as net-warriors, and mother Jamima must be proud of these kids fighting for her ex. So, please read things within context, not out of context where most what you could be thinking is illusion. :)

Obviously, as far as work, commitment and dedication to party is concerned, FK was well ahead of all women and most men members of PTI. So, what criteria and other factors?
Only thing I can see is Look, youth and influential family background.
I am sure FK must have lost on both and well ... on all three counts. :).
Maybe experience, as Imran these days is looking for experience all the time and Ayla Malik was MNA on 'National Alliance' seat, so has experience. :)
