Latest update is even funnier and more embarrassing. Fault has not been rectified yet and one of backup satellite links has also started to malfunction.

Saby, how do you explain some people being able to get online and some not? (excluding you ofcourse). And whats the affected area? Is it pretty random or certain areas/cities in Paka re affected? Or does it depend on what ISP you are using?

After this internet problem occurred, telephone lines became really busy, probably all that traffic who was using internet for text/voice/video chat moved to telephone lines.

They are still looking into it, matter hasn't been resolved as of yet. So, we still await the updates from pak side, the prob is around khi side. So lets wait and pray that they do it bore this weekend. Although, I am not that optimistic on that.

I just returned from pak on Wednesday. The cable and dsl connections were down but dial up connections were available but they were very slow, slower than usual.
