Prostitution is illeagle in pakistan. When you go to police station to report you find out that one president's "chaheeta" minister is their regular customer. So police won't take your complaint, instead swear at you and kick you out.
I still think Taliban has shown some integrity/honesty which we haven't see in our history.
They did become nut cases thats true. But training them in statecraft could have made them a true political force with an ability to fix our issue in months if not weeks.
I doubt that. Backward mentality that these groups have...they can never be a source of stability. Its their way or highway. There is no middle ground. BTW, I don't know about you, but I can live with prostitution, drugs and other problems in society (every society has those problems). However, I can never live under a govt that forces me to grow beard or forces me to pray. Those are my personal choices and I'll do if I want to, and I won't when I don't. Taliban are backward and they want to take us back to 6th century Arabia...which none of us want..i hope.

Please tell me you still remember ppl predicting attacks while mush was trying to be a hero in amrekaan style operation.
So Lal Masjid is a justified cause to do suicide attacks???
Do you want "Mullah Police" on the streets of Islamabad, kicking your butts if you are not wearing a beard or hitting you with sticks if you are not in the mosque at the time of zuhr prayers.If yes, then good for you.

Ask them how many relatives they have lost in target killings, how many professionals, how many young men?
Ask them with an open heart, you will find many teary-eyed mothers and wives, and sisters.
And Lal-masjid operation does not justify suicide attacks. Do you have any idea what was happening in Lal masjid?
Yes, go and ask them and they would tell you that their relatives were suicide bombed and murdered by extreme religious extremists like sipah e sahabas that were created and nurtured by non other than the Pakistani army and its controlled agencies. Even that soft plump commando Mushy was a diehard sefender of Taleban until 2002 and only changed his stance when his boss twisted his hand and knocked some sense into his empty skull.

I fully expect to see these halwa khor sweeping our streets and cleaning gutters because they are a problem that municipal govt do not address fast enough.

Intellectual honesty please, u left out sunni mulims from that list. they were killed by shiite extremists as well.
