I'm against the fatwa.......Nilofer don't deserve any punishment but the people who elected her.
Actually hareem has hit very close to the point.
Regardless of what specifically this woman has done - she is the type of person that an extremely large number of Pakistanis in an area wanted to represent them.
If you don't want people like her leading us.... change the minds of those people who supported her.

I know your in England, but Pakistanis in England arent known for being open minded or understanding of the culture outside their Pakistani neighborhoods. Not every Muslim you see can be a social hermit... Islam asks us to be modest in our actions and our garb... So thus we have to adapt into the society we live because modesty is defined differently in all societies. By the standard of France, hugging your instructor is considered innocent. Islam doesnt want you to close your eyes to the realities of your society... You cant close yourself in just because you think something is unislamic.

We have so many non muslim and non pakistani friends but Alhamdulilah I never forget what I am and what Islam demands from me.

In the early 80's, I used to see a lot of western tourists in Karachi - mostly having a city trip on victorian buggies! Those were really very good days! First eaten up by MQM and now these ugly mullahs!
Mostar I have to correct you there, The tourism declined initially due to mullahs. If you compare tourism of 60's and 70's with 80's you would note that after Zia took over things started going downhill.
Now MQM thugs did not really do a whole lot of damage until years later, but the tourism dropped due to that excessive islamization, coupled with the general unrest and law and order situation in the city that was there even before MQM screwed it up further.
People forget that MQM just made bad things significantly worse, but by tourist standards it was not a place worth visiting even before the thugs took over.

people who jump from planes are called sky divers and he was a sky diving instructor
technically it depends, if they are free falling and then open the parachute then it is sky diving, if the parachute opens as they jump out its parachuting, and if it is a specific type of parachute (shape is different, allows more flexibility on what you can do etc) that opens up as they jump, that is paragliding.

I have just one question for you..I am sorry ,but if you don't follow Pakistani culture why do you comment on it??You are a British Muslim,it would be better if you just comment on the nuisances in that society and leave us Pakistanis alone.

well if you ask me she can do any thing she wants-- but making it public is wrong.
As for as rapping is concerned -- those guys should be whiped(koory) publically making them lesson for every criminal mind.
Why don't you mullahs make all this noise about gang rapes? All I see is silence and no fatwas when such crimes happen. Why the hypocrisy?
