Fatigue from sitting too long..

Now I am beginning to appreciate the reasoning behind gyms attached to the offices. It may seem somewhat of a luxury or a way to keep employees glued to one place, yet it’s a must for those of who have to sit for long, and I mean long hours. After work it feels as tiring as one might have been laying bricks in a kiln all day. But, there’s no facility to workout where I am at, so, just to shed off fatigue, I usually do push-ups and sit-ups in the office; whenever I get a change. But, I think it’s only supplementary, and I am just terribly missing my usual workout routines, which have gotten bumped off due to nothing else but laziness…how do you cope with it..

Doing pushups and situps in the office is great. Try to make it a habbit of doing a certain amount of cardiovascular excercise daily. Eventually it will become a habit for you, and your day sitting at work won't be as tiring anymore.

i feel that too when i sit in front of my comp for long hours to program or write papers etc…
for a while i had a desk on my desk and put my comp on that so i could work on my comp while standing..but that got too tiring…
last summer when nobody went to the gym in college coz everyone was gone from campus i became a gym regular but now when theres ppl there i hate going  the only physical exercise i do is walk about on campus for classes n errands n stuff and go for walks at night sometimes…play badminton or do other stuff sometimes…
namaz is like my only regular workout lolz

well......
walk instead of driving
climb the stairs instead of taking the lift
set the timer to ring every hour and get up and walk for 5 minutes when it rings
wake 15 mins earlier and go and take a short walk
etc... etc...

i do stretching exercises..i do run from the front desk to the back of the building..and when i have to walk..i do jump walk instead of normal walking..

qrius jaan tumhara bhi koi haal nahin...
