Father 'buried baby girl alive'

Re: Father 'buried baby girl alive'

I gone through the same news yesterday and thought to post it here but something stopped me and I didn't. Guess what was that? A different perception and the fear.. will people here think the way, I am? hardly one or two maybe!!
Since this thread has been posted here..I feel like sharing my views here..
I know the man did wrong but for a second can anyone think of why he may did it?? I feel like blaming the goverment for that.
The father was a poor (& illitrate) man and the baby was not a normal baby (physically). Can there be no possibility that he burried his daughter because he had no option left? Maybe he thought for his future.. making her survive with no facilities & no finances provided/ poverty.. or may he thought for the baby's future for making her survive with these abnormalities for her entire life. It can be clearly seen he didnt burried her because it was a BABY GIRL but because he found her abnormal. If our government was so good in providing sufficient funds to the deserving class..helping those who utterly are in need.. such things wouldnt happen. The poor man was seeing the current situation of the country!! Instead running for the upper class and seeking help for his baby.. gathering funds for bring her back to the normalities, he found her death to be more easy!! Alas!
Dont you see, Capitalism is on in every cases.. rich is getting richer.. poor is getting poorer. They can telecast an interview with who so ever ministers and blah blah after such a news but they cant bring a better solution for that!! I dont know the name of this lady maybe who is the health minister or what (i was really not interested in knowing about her) but she gave an interview after the news and was showing grief of how the father did it to the baby but could she ever empathise instead sympathise?? could she put herself in his shoe.. not only provided by such a baby but also poverty?? This girl from another news went to the court for she was a victim of a raping gang and the court released the suspects because no proof was provided.. & when the girl raised her voice at such a court decision, she was physically tortured by the police!! See!! What is goverment doing??? There are thousands of cases unrevealed.. what the government did for that? What is happening in here? They can blame a single person and say HE HE HAW HAW... and how about those who are ruling this nation?? The Criminals? Who have already been to Jails??
Think before you speak!
& Empathize before you Sympathize!!

Re: Father 'buried baby girl alive'

If you're referring to the doctor part, the short answer is yes.

Re: Father 'buried baby girl alive'

^like only the mother is allowed to take the baby outside the hospital?

Re: Father 'buried baby girl alive'

No, I have no idea where you're even getting this from.

And if this is a completed twisted version of my "question" in the previous post....then let me clarify......that question was in no way in reference to who is "allowed" to take the baby outside the hospital. I was trying to get an idea on whether or not the baby was actually officially released by the hospital OR did the father just walk out without notifying anyone. In the U.S., after a normal delivery, its unusual for a newborn (within a day or two of birth) to be released while the mother is still in the hospital. Thus my question regarding what the procedures are in Pakistan.

Re: Father 'buried baby girl alive'

ok.......so how does baby get ''offficially'' released in US?? mother has to sign the papers or somethng??

Re: Father 'buried baby girl alive'

Two signs of both the parents. This was clearly a case of irresponsibility on the part of the slouchy hospital staff present. And I agree, they definitely should be trialed and later even grilled along with the heartless scumbag for a father. Ubber sadness prevails. :(

Re: Father 'buried baby girl alive'

I am sorry why do we blame government for every ill that out people commit. What happened to the basic Islamic teaching. You don't know what to do with a child with physical deformalities, please take the child to ehdi center.

Re: Father 'buried baby girl alive'

I don't know about any law but recently took a tour of the maternity unit in a hospital. They keep a good eye on comes in the unit and who leaves the unit. The entrance is locked. When coming in, the person has to buzz the door and needs to check in with the nursing station. When leaving the unit, they again have to buzz the door. Cameras are installed in that area, the nurses will only unlock the door if they clear the person leaving. This is to ensure that babies are not taken out of the hospital until discharged.

Re: Father 'buried baby girl alive'

The hospital has to sign the discharge papers and only then parents can take the baby home.

Re: Father 'buried baby girl alive'

Poor little baby :( This is shocking!!!! Hope this man get's what he deserves in this life and the life after.

Re: Father ‘buried baby girl alive’

Once again, I have no idea why the “mother” is being brought in on this.

It’s the doctor who signs all the papers officially discharging mother and/or baby from the hospital once it’s decided that they’re medically clear to leave.

Re: Father 'buried baby girl alive'

And also they put a tiny sensor with a strap on the baby's ankle. If anyone tried to take a newborn out the L&D unit, the alarms go off.The nurses only remove the sensor thing when the baby is discharged .I am not sure if they do that in every hospital though.

Re: Father ‘buried baby girl alive’

because of this

Re: Father 'buried baby girl alive'

I added 'illitrate' with poor too! and taking a child to edhi center is not even that easy. You can take any decision according to how you think and how you have learnt to be literate n wise but he'd do according to how he thought and his poor illitrate mind couldnt think more than that and he took it as the better solution. Who was responsible? Government.. Why it was? Because it made him think that way!!!

Re: Father ‘buried baby girl alive’

i wonder how long it will take for the world to reach a point where such jaahilana acts as this are minimized if not eradicated :hinna: its really sad that even in this day and age there are families killing their girls just because they are girls or killing their kids cuz they are born disabled where bahus are burned alive cuz there was little or no dowry… why is it that such tragedies still occur and why are we letting them happen

Re: Father ‘buried baby girl alive’

^ how can we not let it happen? do you have any better idea? btw its a general question so dont be offended!! :chai:

Re: Father 'buried baby girl alive'

there has t be efforts like educating people for example

Re: Father 'buried baby girl alive'

hmm.... education has become very expensive in pakistan now.. and those who get the cheap ones are still learning A for Apple in grade 6. Believe me!!

Re: Father 'buried baby girl alive'

in this case i didnt mean formal education like high school or uni i meant bringing awareness and education to ppl about the particular issue tell them what islam says about it for example
