It’s strange but I don’t see any characteristics of my father in my brother. My father was hardworking (even in his old age), active and sporty, really fit, he always ate simple food, never complained about anything except the political situation of Pakistan, studious and mystic.
But my brother? Well, he looks like father but he’s lazy, kaam chor, unfit, doesn’t take care of his health, hates simple foods, not very sporty, he used to play cricket but left it a long time ago, doesn’t bother about the politics and current affairs etc, and he’s not even mystic, he’s into cult.
I can’t believe how come our one and only brother is totally opposite of our father? In fact, I see a lot of characteristics of my father in myself and I’d like to be more like him.
What do you guys think? Do you see your parents’ characteristics in yourself and your siblings? Are you more like your mother or father, or just completely different?
My youngest brother on the other hand is totally on my mother - he is very patient, understanding, caring and just a complete sweet heart like my mother!
My eldest brother has many habits like my father even though they havent lived together much.
I am on my father too. Most of my characteristics are totally him too. So yeah we do end up being some what like our parents.
in my opinion it depends a number of high level factors 1 how much your parents have been around you 2 how much influential have they been 3 how much have you been influenced by the outside world etc etc.
i have got my father (majority) + my mother + my own (through lifes own experiences)
With all due respect hareem, give the guy freaking break..
He probably too young to built or show the character you expect... It will happen.. I promise...
They say "barged ki jagha barged hi ugty heen"
Most probably he is going to turn in to fine man like your dad.
Don't believe me ?? ask his daughter in 20 something years.. :D
lol....true said Monk and Decent, his boys already love him and are following his footsteps in art and calligraphy. Sure, I just ignored his positive points, thanks for reminding me. :)
I'm a mix of both my mum and dad, as are my sisters.
My father, is totally like his father, they have the same mannerisms and the same habits and traits, DESPITE my father having barely lived with his father throughout his life. No idea how that happened lol.
I think it has more to do with age, I have seen my dad changing into my grandfather and my elder brother had started accepting my dad's views recently.
