MMA has decided to dissolve the assembly on “2nd Oct” but now PML(Q) and PPP-S has filed no confidence motion against chief minister. Now, as per constitution assembly can not be dissolved before the voting on the motion and that may be dragged until after the presidential election. This give way to two important questions

Is MMA REALLY an opposition party? I mean if they wanted to dissolve the assembly, why wait? They could have dissolved it 5-6 days ago when they decided about it. Same is the case with resignations of the members. If you have decided to resign, why not JUST RESIGN

If MMA is dissolving assembly JUST SO THAT THEY CAN SOME HOW STOP THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION (btw which they can not), can this be challenged in court coz they are denying members to use their right of vote. Their own argument in one of the TV debate was “Presidential election can not go ahead as NWFP will have no say in it in absence of assembly. Its not right morally”. How can they give this argument as they are dissolving the assembly themselves !
