I dont know...my hubby is pakistani and my boys have those "camel eyes". And we have experienced such warm welcomes. We actually just came back from our big camping/road trip - we drove 6300 miles!!! across the country (USA) and had the time of our lives. Warm welcomes most everywhere we went and the only time it was NOT a warm welcome was because we had little ones. It seems to me that a good part of it is what you look like and how you act...I mean there ARE nice black kids out there who dress like "gangstas" and talk ebonics and street rap. WHen I see those, I cross the street to the other side yeah? But I'm sure at least some of them are nice kids. Perception and first impressions mean so much.
