FAT32 vs NFTS

What are the main differences?
And which File System is best, strong and long-termed?

Any Suggestions…

Re: FAT32 vs NFTS

NTFS has better security, it scales further, and is more stable.

Re: FAT32 vs NFTS

NTFS is better but it does take more room. I guess now that the hard drives are large and fairly cheap that is not an issue.

Yes, HD sizes are largest & prices are smallest and are not the issue.

Re: FAT32 vs NFTS

NTFS is better than FAT32 there is no shaq, but i'll give you one advice... you always keep one partition of hardisk in FAT32 format for emergency purpose or if you use any DOS based software or if you work in assembly langauge etc.

Re: FAT32 vs NTFS

Yes, I had made 1 or 2 partitions FAT32 (alongwith NTFS) on my systems.
Thanks 4 your suggestion anyway.
