humi, dont worry… those clothes never fit me.. either the chest part is soo tight and the hips are perfect… or the chest is perfect and the hips are a totally out there…
this aunt that sells clothes here alawys tells me "im sorry beta… mein tumhare size ke koi kapre nahin lek kar aayi… " (all her clothes are for chestless girls.. :halo: )
its really hard to find proper sizes in stores.. i usually get my mum to take out a few stitches for me and stuff… u could always try that…?
I Know, I know I was just little pissed after looking at all those desi clothes catalogs that it just blocked all my thinking abilities and I couldn’t come up better words.
PS. Is it too late to change the title of my thread? I think we should cherish our curves and not get put off by those stick figures since we are the real deal.
humi don't feel bad. Clothes in Pakistan are made for the average Pakistani female who is usually short and petite. I'm practically 5'9" and 90% of the clothes don't fit cause of my height. I can never wear ready made pant suits cause they are so short and end up ripping in the most inappropriate places cause they just don't fit properly. It's not just a weight issue. It's better to have things custom made, but even then, the tailors tend to screw up the clothes .... at least for me.
Are you saying Jessica simpson is fat and that kind of fat is okayish? Man, you are really out there if that’s the case. Or may be you are talking about her before she lost the weight.
You are not fat! My God, you’re so slim!! Dont you dare lose another ounce.
Why are girls so worried? I bet most of the girls here who think they are fat, are probably in fine shape. My aunt told me I need to put on weight. Although trust me, I could afford to lose a few pounds. But hey if she thinks I need to eat, I dont mind some chocolate cake.
