Fasting whilst on "holiday" ???!!!

I would defer to “actions are judged by intentions”… so if one takes a travel holiday in Ramadan despite knowing its Ramadan and there are other times of the year that a holiday can be taken, then it’s probably not right… however, if that’s the only time of the year that a holiday can be taken (i.e. a person has considered other options for time for a holiday, but it’s not possible), and Ramadan happens to fall in the same time period, then so be it, and one may be exempt based on his/her circumstances.

Again, I’m no Aalim but that logic makes sense to me.

Totally agree. Can’t argue with logic. :k:
