I’ve read about some 7 fasts that you can keep as prayer for getting pregnant.
The woman is to break the fast reading something 23 times.
1- can someone please give me details about the fasting and the duas to read at breaking the fast?
2- Do these 7 fasts have to be continuous or can you break them us?

Believe me when you are in that desperate situation...you try anything...and what is wrong with fasting and praying something.....helps body and mind....and shows faith (turning to Allah SWT and his teachings)

yeh i dont think if there is any thing wrong in doing this jis k paas yeh nehmat nahin hai us ko pata hota hai k us pe kya guzar rahi hai :( ne ways muniya i have heard this the first time though :) Allah aap ko is nehmat se jaldi nawaze (ameen)

Pray to Allah Almighty. It is up to you how you pray to Him. Prayers can take several forms and fasting is one them.

Yeah but desperation shouldn't mean you resort to illogical stuff that doesn't make sense.
Fasting, praying, etc. all good and jolly but when you say fast this many times and you will get pregnant... then there is something wrong with that.
How unmanly of men who send their wives to some peers thinking that peer will do something which would allow their women to become pregnant. When the man himself can't do anything what will the peer do? Even if peer does something, guess what that will be? :D

Like every thread in the religion forum - there will always be those that are trying to turn the topic into an arugument. To those I ask to please leave the thread.
And what do you people mean irrational things?
1- I am not desperate for anything - if Allah wants me to be a parent I will be and if not then thats that.
2- I am not marrying a tree - I am praying to Allah for something. How is that so illogical crap? When is taking Allah mian's name ever crap - astaghfirallah?
Dont we pray to do well on exams? Its the same thing.

Until you are in that situation, you can't possibly imagine how people feel.....yeah, people go to maulana's etc for taweez, to learn specific prayers etc.......it is all prayer, and insha allah is accepted by Allah SWT......
I wouldn't wish this pain on anyone.........
And anyway, as long as it's not against islam's teachings, any prayers that we do, ny fast's etc....they are all a saving for the heirafter...something all of us can't afford to not do...
