…are you drinking tea at sehri these days?
Re: Fasting tea-drinkers...
I am , but skip it after iftar.
Re: Fasting tea-drinkers...
nopes. i didn't have it at all for 2 days, trying to get over caffeine or i get the worst headaches with tea withdrawal. i had a small cup sometime after iftar last night and restricting it to that.
Re: Fasting tea-drinkers…
**yes i have my cuppa tea every sehri and iftari ![]()
i love my tea!
the only time i left tea out was when i was pregnant with my youngest cuz of the sickness :(**
Re: Fasting tea-drinkers...
YES
a cup before Sehri and cup right after Maghrib Namaz. cant live without it :(
Re: Fasting tea-drinkers...
def! i need to have half a cup of tea both at sehri and after aftari!!
Re: Fasting tea-drinkers...
I try to avoid it as much as I can ... coz already due to very long roza time, we are getting dehydrated and tea makes the matter worst ... but when I cant control the craving for it any longer , I have half a cup sehri time :(
Re: Fasting tea-drinkers...
We drink coffee at home. During Ramadan, we make half caffeinated/half decaf pot for Sehri.
During Iftari we drink decaf tea.
Re: Fasting tea-drinkers...
Yes I am! I needs it! Only a small cup though at sehri. A huge mug after dinner though. I loves tea.
I tried to wean myself off normal tea with peppermint/mint/green tea a week leading up to Ramadan but did not happen. My sister has already taken away my codeine, I cannit live without tea as well!
Re: Fasting tea-drinkers...
Milly you know i tried weaning away too with all the various flavoured tea, but proved to be a waste of effort ... I keep getting bored of the flavoured tea ... there's no beating the English tea , its the best ..

I knows!
I do like green tea/turkish tea/mint tea when made fresh and made properly though.
Re: Fasting tea-drinkers…
I love buying different teas too, but I never enjoy drinking them. I love my standard black tea blend.
We are avid tea drinkers too, but after Fajr hubby likes to go back to sleep, so we haven’t been having tea. After the first roza, we just didn’t have time for tea as by the time we ate and got bunny to bed and ate some more, we were too sleepy for it. We might need to change our schedule to work the tea back in. ![]()

Uff I need tea now!
Re: Fasting tea-drinkers...
I dont drink tea, i find it gross...but an hour till iftar and all this talk of tea is making me crave it. sighs. I drink coffee but can do without it and its too hot at the moment so havent touched it since rozay started.

Toba you guys all sound like proper addicts! Hehe I occasionally have green tea after iftar to help with digestion or a coffee mocha if I'm studying all night.
