Those who wish to fast in the month of Shawwal may fast after eid i.e. after two days of eid ul Fitr. I’m not sure whether it is said after two days of eid or three. :slight_smile:

yeh kahaN se aap nayaa nusKha 2-3 din EID kaa le aaye…eid to sirf aur sirf ek din kii hotii hai…bahot se log eid ke dusre roz se 6 roze rakhte haiN…kia aap Eid ke peechhe TAR ke mele kii baat kar rahe hai yaa phir baqra ei’d kii? baqra -eid teen din tak rahtii hai qurbaanii kii sahoolat ke liye! :slight_smile:

Mein Eid ul Fitr ki baat kr raha hoon. Waise Eid sirf aik din agar hoti hy to phir 3 din kiyon manai jaati hy ?

vo cultural cheez hai...pahle ke zamaanoN meN aur India meN aaj bhii eid ke ba'd gaaoN gaaoN shahr shahr qariya qariya eid ke dusre din se le kar 3 dinoN tak eid ke ba'd mele [carnivals] lagte haiN jise ham log India meN "Eid ke peechhe TAR kaa melaa" kahte haiN...iskaa deen-e-Islam se koii vaasta nahiiN...log ek do hafte tak jashn manaaye to usse deen kaa koii ta'alluq nahiiN...eid-ul-fitr deenii ai'tabaar se sirf ek din kii hotii hai.

I checked in hadith book I think 'Yes' u r correct. I think i'm mixing up three days of 'tashreeq' i.e. Eid ul Adha's days. :)

if it’s nafli roza then there isn’t any problem but if it’s the fard roza that you missed then it should be done as soon as possible…[that doesn’t include convenience!]. are you waiting for December when the days will be the shortest and hence the cinchiest? :cb:

In that case woh rozay nafli rozay hongain 'Shawwal' ke rozain nahi or uska 'sawab' different hoga.
