Narrated by Abu Huraira (Radhiallaho anho):
The Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said, “Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (i.e. Allah will not accept his fasting.)”

Bukhari Vol. 3 : No. 127

“I put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving creature, but He has a grasp of its forelock. Verily, my Lord is on the straight path. (The truth)”
(11:55-56)

Yes Saadia Fasting involves everything..Just not that you refrain from having food and drinks. Its much more than that.
