I needed some help regarding this.
What if your period cycle ends, and the day you are suppose to perform the purification bath, you start bleeding again. would be called as periods? Can you fast the next day or not?

yeah thats still your period, its quite common for them to stop half way between for a day. wait until it ends again and do the purification bath again.

What if the periods haven't stopped properly, the discharge in the past 2 days was dry and all

and what if tis the 12th day

if you are bleeding you cant fast/pray as far as i know.
Also have you bled for 12 days before? its quite unusual to bleed for 12 days ish.
sometimes u ovulate twice in a month and get two periods.
with regards to fasting i dont think you can if u are bleeding.

As far as I know...if you're bleeding you can't fast. You just have to wait till it stops, then you take your bath and then you can fast etc.
Btw have you had a 12 day period before?

if ur period exceed 10 days if u have not suffer before so i think its nt normal u should go to doctor and yeah the blood will stop than u can pray and fast if there is red blood than .. in other case if the bleeding is not normal like bleeding every day so thats mean u r sick and in this case u can fast and pray but u must nt pray and fast on the date of ur period is start for e.g if ur period is start from 9 sep so the next month on date 9 .. u can do this if the bleeding is the whole month than ... this all i asked my Islamic teacher becz my sis suffered from the situation ..

and yeah Istihaadah (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding) does not have any effect on the validity of the fast.

well what i read abt it was, u shud have an idea of how long ur periods usually stay.For instance if it stays for 7 days , the 8th day u can fast ,the blood wont be the one from the periods.Longest one must wait is 11 days (thats what i read)

u can purify after 8 days. coz thats normal duration. rest is abnormal/bimari. so u can fast.

Okay, you said you suffer from PCOS...I guess because the 12 day duration isn't your normal period then you can fast after the duration of your normal period regardless of whether you are bleeding or not.
