was it a T-20 or a Test match? McCollum on his last test in Christchurch scored the fastest century ever in history of Test Cricket. his 54-ball 100 broke the record jointly held by Sir Vivian Richards and MisbaaH ul Haq.
it was quite an entertaining inning by McCollum and Corey Anderson. Corey hit 72 off 66 balls. their partnership was 198.
McCollum hit 21 FOURS and 6 SIXES for his 145.
Anderson hit 8 FOURS and 4 SIXES.

Must be a entertaining inning. I’m not surprised though based on the hitting style that kiwi batsmen have adopted now, Mcullum’s talent and NZ’s small grounds. Great work indeed :k:

It was quite a contrast between pre lunch and post lunch where Hazelwood from 11 of his first 10 overs before lunch went for 57 in next 4 overs after lunch not only him sub ki hee kutaai lagi. Enjoyed watching entertaining innings.

A great achievement
McCullum should get a lot of credit for the way NZ bat these days but you have got to say that a test average of 38.72 (after playing 101 tests, 6428, 12 test hundreds) and in today's batting-friendly era is below-par for a player of his ability

Saw the highlights of his innings. Looks like a baseball player come in cricket ground. Not a test innings at all specially when a team is under pressure. Had his lucky day of life . Caches going away. Git oUT on no ball bowlers gIvins lously ball. He was keep charging fast bowlers n they keep feeding him his suitable line. the way he batted says about his test avg on normal day when he is not very lucky.
But for such innings luck is badly needed.

Added factor is the small size of NZ grounds. Maybe on other grounds he would not have been able to achieve this feat.

And he may have had to use his feet more in larger grounds.
