MissTy, you are correct on most of the points. However, Islam only threatens to kill a convert/murtid if this happens in an pure Islamic state where Sharia is Implemented. Otherwise its a big no no for an ordinary man or a Western style democracy where the law of the land is written by ex British masters. There are always conditions. Nobody investigates, just read it on a website or news channel and post it.

How many people can openly admit they are murtids in countries that don’t follow sharia but are still muslim dominant? Have u heard any apostate come out in pakistan and announce about their apostacy? I don’t think so. even in western countries, people who speak against islam are sent death threats by muslim extremists. So most apostates dont come out and openly admit it so we don’t really have a statistics on how many people leave islam.
