My khala’s daughter is getting married at the end of next month, just wanted to know if anybody had any suggestions for songs to perform to on a mehindi? 
So far we have only imitated the dance from the movie Devdas, Dola Re.

I love good dance music! Shakila, I haven’t been keeping pace with desi movies the past few months but from the bit of recent music I’ve heard, there are some really nice dance numbers in movies these days as well as in pop music.
If ya want serious dance, maybe you wanna play some trance. It will definately liven the whole mehndi up:D
How bout bhangra you can do Putt Sardar Da (from DSNY 9 I think) :bhangra:

there are so many to choose from, but i would like to recommend “rhele releh” by hunterz. :bhangra:
apart from dancing on fast beats, you should also do an old slow song, yeh galiyan yeh chobarra, songs lyrics are just so beautiful, i have planned to dance on it on my own wedding, on mehndi night , hopefully, whenever i get married , but you should give that song a thought, it is a beautiful song, at least listen to it once or watch the song in the movie for steps and stuff
