you can try midi skirts and wide legged trousers with short tops or blouses and tights and skinnies with knee length tops.

Hey there,

To downplay ur thighs u need to draw attention the best part of ur structure which is ur tiny waist/narrow upperbody. My sis, who is also a pear shape, usually wears tops which hit below the widest part of the hips; Doing so completely hides the wide hips & instantly creates a sleek silhouette.

Also wear darker colours on the bottom half & lighter colours + busy patterns on top to pull the eye upwards. Belts on the hips/around the waist will create a disproportionate look, so steer clear of them. Turtlenecks, v-necks, thick cardigans blazers are very flattering. Layering tops is very helpful & can help you break the monotony of wearing dark trousers.

Wear statement necklaces/earrings, again to draw attention upwards, rather than downwards.

When it comes to skirts, its A-line all the way & the material is extremely important. Just as thick materials on top looks very flattering on the pear-shaped....light, flowy, skin-skimming materials on the bottom hides all the imperfections of a pear-shape.Usually people would recommend pear shaped people to wear bellbottoms, I've noticed it can rather make one look way too narrow at the top & really wide at the top...if it suits you great, otherwise straight legged trousers are flattering.

Hope this very long post (lol) is of some help :) tc.
