Okay, I want to have this suit made, but I was considering having it made in red instead of the white.
If it’s made in red, what colors should I make the bands? Keep them as is? Modify some?
I really like purple with red these days, do you think I can keep that?
If you could please post pics of the combinations you’re thinking, that would be really helpful.

I like red with other “girl” jewel tones…burgundy, hot pink, purple, deep eggplant purple etc..if u replace the white with red, have the pipings and bottom band and pajama in purple..the middle color blocks can be burgundy, hot pink, etc

depends on the shade of red. If it’s darker shades of red, then you need to incorporate lighter shades of “patti” at the bottom.
red and pinks and purple
bolder: deep red, gold and turquoise
red, light orange, and purple (a light green to pop out would look nice as additional color as well)

The biggest thing to consider the color of the jamawar patti and piping on the dress if you change the color. The rest of the colors you can arrange accordingly.

Yes! Match the of red with the red at the bottom of the band. It will all blend in.

^ So keep the emerald green and purple and just modify the maroon to a the red.

I personally love the white!
and I love mint green as a colour for a anarkali. not sure how it would look with a red, but with a hto pink, it would look really nice.
