yeh i m too in favor of long ones...but i m so confused bcoz wedding clothes are really expensive and i dnt want to take any risk.... shud i wait till november?????????

I think long shirts will still be in fashion cos theyre so popular, designers tend to go for these styles and its unlikely to change that dramatically

i remember my cousin got married 3 or more yr ago when there was short shirts and dhotii shalwars were in. she made all her jaheez suits of the same trend and within 2 3 months she couldnt even wear them due to long short fashion and all her jaheez and bari dress got wasted literally!!

after seeing her i m now very much conscious abt the fashion trend because you really cant wear long maxi dress and loose trousers when every other person is wearing short shirts and chorii daar fitted trousers!

^ so get mainly unstitched clothes in your jaheyz so you can tailor them later on according to whatever fashion there is, and then get your wedding dress based off what you like and what looks good on you. personally, i don't think you can ever go wrong with a gharara- whether its a traditional one with a shorter shirt or a farshi with a longer shirt. its timeless, classic, and looks fantastic on everyone!

dont be confused.. my wedding is in jan, probably jan end n ive ordered my lehnga with long shirt , n i'm happy with it..i like long shirts more thn short ones so even if trend changes i wouldnt b unhappy abt my decision, coz i like it tht way

but i havnt seen any one wearing shrt shrts...shorts shirts fashion stayed for 6 years,,i want long shirts fashion to be in for 6 years tooooooooooooo

me tooo want it to be longgg!! longer than anything :P

but yaar i know i wont be wearing long shirts if short shirts will be in fashion.
same as now i dont like loose trousers to wear but prefering choori daar!

but yeah for the bridal suit i m thinking to make one maxi dress and other moderate one!

I dnt know abt the length of the bridal shirt…bt I think the back of the shirt will be open with beads decorating it as a new 2012 fashion. Ive noticed it on a few brides…it looks kinda elegant…even though I personally wouldn’t wear a shirt like that…
