Sadzz, I love the ‘laid back’ look. All summer I wore kurtay with jeans and chappals. Even when it really was too cold to wear I got myself a chadar and tadaaaaa. Wish it was summer again ![]()

loafers are the shoes without laces, considered casual, could be worn with sport coats and chinos..could also work with more casual single breasted style suits, btu pairing them with a double breated suit is a fashion disaster.
Nothing’s wrong with turtlenecks with hair tied up. ![]()
Mock turtle necks under suits or jackets...it is a huge fashion nono..
i so dont have a sense of fashion.. :-(
i love my jeans..n dont throw em till they r really worn out or my friends burn them :-/
mat.. mock turtle necks..period.. I mean either wear a turtle neck or dont... its kinda like those mock cowboy boots that are just above the ankles..i mean whats the use..

lol! Let's just hope the person who committed such a crime comes across this thread.
Larki Punjaban: gracias..its due to my dad being a proper gentleman.
femme fatale: it completely depends on the shade of blue and the shade of brown. mustard is very moolanese..but brown we can talk about.
Some browns, and cordovan shoes look very nice with the real navy blue suits (not those purple-ish tints or the medium blues bein passed along as navy blue) as far as brown being in the tie..it could work. depends on the shade of the brown and how much of that brown is in the tie. if you mean a solid brown tie, yeah that will not go.
Now Brown shoes should not be worn after hours..thats a classic rule of thumb, but these days it does not quite matter as much.
in case you want to test out the theory of navy suits with brown shoes..pick up any copy of GQ or Esquire..spring and fall month editions will defintely show you the combo.
PA- double breated suits come and go as far as being popular. but they are not just for skinny folks..as a matter of fact on skinny folks they kinda hang .. similarly if you have a paunch stay away..nothing more hideous than a guy in a double breasted suit 3 sizes too small. You have to be in a decent nuff shape to be able to pull it off well. and for those who can pull it off, the thing looks very sharp.
