More than anything else, I think she should submit her videos to corroborate the uncanny valley hypothesis, cuz it certainly helped me understand the phenomenon a bit better.

Ok so i just saw her q&a with her husband...totally adore them now! She looks so much more comfortable and natural and easy with Amir... some of the stories abt them are so wild. Loved the video, i hope she can come across just as warm in the rest of her videos.

Okay, I felt the opposite. I am not into sports so I admit that I would find stories and updates about boxing boring as well...but she can at least try to do a better job of pretending to be interested. A viewer asked Amir a simple question about his next upcoming channel and he went on and on and on and on and on...and it's like...errr hello....this is not mainly about you, Amir....this is about your wife as it's her channel. Getting so angry with your spouse that not only threaten to break their cell phone but actually carry that threat out....shows you got issues. The story about Amir trying to cheer her up by being funny with sleeping on the ground.....was cute. The fact that he unknowingly destroyed his own phone in anger as opposed to Faryal's....was funny...but I still think it shows anger issues.
There were times that Faryal's tone seemed rushed and agitated...at least to me. I think when they were both asked to list 3 traits they like about each other....there was quite a bit of hesitation and awkwardness between the two but I think she did better than him because her answers had greater substance. For instance, she said that he has a big heart and helps people and that makes her proud of him. Whereas Amir's answers didn't have much depth...he liked that she keeps the home clean. (Or maybe that she ensures that the maids keep it clean)...he likes that she gets his breakfast ready for him on time....and that she's an involved, good mom. Okay maybe the last point has more substance than the other two. There are people fawning and aaaawning over them and I don't feel it. I don't envy their relationship as I don't get the impression that they're all that close or that they're so loved up...or even that they have a healthy/great marriage. But if anyone says this...you have FM fans on the youtube accusing critics of being jealous of FM's wealth. It ain't all about the wealth. As important as money is, it don't resolve all the problems one has.

^I agree, I felt there was a bit too much of awkwardness and I don’t know, maybe “coldness” between them, which was a little weird for me but that’s maybe because I’m used to a complete different type of relationship and chemistry. And in the first video it felt like the guy could hardly get a word in 
Hmm... i think the impression that they have 'issues' in their marriage or w/e comes from the wild stories in the media, about them. Personally, watching them i was kind of surprised how they were cos i was expecting it to be extremely serious and formal, showing zero connection between the two. Maybe i'm the only one who sees it that way, idk.

He cant't be literally illiterate (pun intended :p) if he can both read and write. It's just that he's not very educated then. If he can't read/write....uh-oh... there's real trouble.

Was thinking the same. She's 23 right now, got married in her early 20's? She probably has a bachelors degree.

Reems, are you sure? Cuz it does say online that he went to school. He may not be very well read about the world around him...and some folks with degrees aren't. He may not give the soundest views or responses, but he's gotta know how to read and write. That's like the minimum.

I thought Faryal came across quite well in this video.. the speech bubbles when Amir was going on and on made me smile and wasn't impressed with how he described her qualities (ie what benefited him).. To me she seems far smarter that him.. she obviously loves her fashion, makeup and all that so people tend to only notice that "superficial" side of her imo.. I've seen a couple of other interviews with her and she comes across as quite sharp in those..

but I agree that Amir doesn't seem to have a good grasp of English evident from the way he types on twitter and speaks in person (or in his videos).

apparently she studied at uni/college but didn't graduate as she got married instead.
