Pathani: are you sure "sar koh-e-buland" means "on the mountain top"? :)
Anwaar, you seem to have a different interperation......why dont you add your 5 cents? Im honestly very curious, not that you already know that...
And now that you are here, please also tell if you published any of your own poetry...I have asked about it in the past. Remember?
Sar= head/top
Koh=mountain
e-buland= on a high.....
Since you are very skilled in Urdu, you already know the meanings...Im sure of it. :)
You are most welcome, shararati bhai of mine…
Leikin, I told ya! Stop messing up my hairstyle!!!
Sey na shud, chaar shud! have III bros doing the very same, now one MORE ugh!
Well, you kinda do understand some specific words of farsi..caz you know Urdu.
Pathani ji zar apny spelling pr ghur karin
**Sar kho-e buland faryaad kardam Yeh KOH kahin sy nahi dikhta KHo lagta hy,
**Woh apni kho na choorin gy Ham apni wazhu kion badlin
**Subak sar ban ky woh pochin ** ky ham sy sar gira kion ho wala kho Koh hota tu yaqeenan ham kuch or samjhty:snooty: ** On Moutain ky liy it should be’ Sar “BAR” KOH e Buland … I know for sure Bar means par/on:)Only koh-e-buland means high mountain/buland pahhar:smokin2:
Ah!!! I guess I understand now what is the problem. This Sar is not for head if your translation is “On a high mountain” It must be sar/Peek, pahaar ki Choti
**Sar-e-koh-e-buland OR could be ba/bar sar koh-e-buland:DI bet ( I wanna say Challenge:hehe:) I am damn right here:wink:That this sar is not 4 insani sar here:smokin2:Agar ap bazid hain ky yeh insan ka Head hi hy tu sory to say on mountain high ghalat hy:desimunda:
Its said…“Pathan(i) is either your best friend or worst enemy”…:halo:
And its kinda like in French, sum wordings are used in specific way. A word can have several meanings…lol Next time, try to enjoy the poem than smashing it to bits n pieces…
