She passed away too yesterday, but her death has been overshadowed by M.J.'s passing ....
She was diagnosed with anal cancer 3 years ago. She made a recovery but the evil disease came back and spread into her liver. She passed away yesterday.
Obviously, we all know M.J. and I LOVE his music ... but Farrah touched many of us in other ways. She was a great actress. Although only starring in one season of Charlie's Angels, she made a lot of movies in the 80s (mainly t.v. films). The one that I will always remember watching as a kid was The Burning Bed. Domestic abuse was not really openly discussed even back then, but this explicit and graphic movie dealing with emotional, mental and physical abuse, was one of the first movies to bring the issue to light. I'll never forget that movie.
I commend her efforts and she will be greatly missed.
