I used to go almost every year for 17 years while I grew up in London.

It's disappointing these days compared to Farnborough '89. The sight of a Vulcan nuclear bomber making a low flypast was one of the most beautiful things ever.

The best military airshow in the UK is the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford every year.

That’s interesting considering Farnborough takes place every other year. What did you do - turn up on an empty airfield and wonder where the crowds were??? Wasn’t the lack of any planes a clue for you???
