Who owns the farm lands. We see in TV dramas all the time about zalim wadera who owns all the land, and the farmers are just laborers. What’s the truth? Are there farmers who own their own land, and manage to make a living off of it?

On TV they used to show ads for farm insect killers and pesticides aimed at farmers. These ads were in Urdu, and some even in English. Who were these actually aimed at? Since when do farmers speak English? Yeah, they did show ads in Sindhi also, but only during Sindhi shows.
