Re: Re: Farmaan-e-Ilaahi
ahh .. u made me think lil more that i never thought about:) jazak ALLAH :flower1:
okay here it goes.. first of all whatever i will say will solely be my own understanding and any mistake u find please do correct it so that i may rightly be guided and u get the aj’r of it..
I was reading this and when i came to this ayah and read between the lines I found out YET again that even prophets :as: were sent just to deliver the message… the very similar words are revealed for Rasoolulah :saw: ﻍﻼﺒﻟﻻﺍ ﺎﻨﻴﻠﻋ ﺎﻣﻭ
that is, “and he :saw: has not been sent but just to deliver the message”
As per ussool-e-fiqh, Al Quran-O-Yofassirahu ba’adahu ba’ad.. meaning one part of Quran explains the other.. we also find ayah 143 of surah al baqarah(2) very relevent and interesting:
Thus,* have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves;** and We appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (From the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous, except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah Make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people Most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful. *
now taking everything in context, according to the ayah 110 of surah aal-e-Imran(3):
**Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors. **
it is understood to be a fardh upon muslims to raise the voice and work in favour and preaching of good (islam) and forbid evil… as a famous hadith says, mafhoom of which is that If we see some thing bad, we should stop it with our hand, if we don’t have power to do that, speak against it, if that is not possible either, atleast think it to be wrong and that is the weakest level of Imaan…
now while doing all these things we will come across to disbleivers and/or ignorant who will DEFINITELY make fun of the ayahs and message of Islam.. they will put a question mark where ALLAH puts a period
so it is told in ayah 199 of surah al a’araaf (7)
Keep to forgiveness, and enjoin kindness, and turn away from the ignorant.
and in surah kaafiroon Lakum denokum walay yadeen
and ofcourse as Hadhrat Abu Bak’r :razi: once in a speech cleared the confusion on this ayah of surah kafiroon that it is not ONLY about religious tolerence but when u have delivered the message and then ALLAH’s deen is rejected then u say Lakum deenokum walay yadeen; before that ayah 143 of surah al baqarah(2) still holds…
as for why it is in surah al kah’f, I can’t think neither i really dunno the background so can’t say anything on my own .. unless u know something and wanna share… may ALLAH give u aj’r for that.. aameen
Wama ALAINA ILLAL BALAAGH.
