Calling all fashionistas! Has anyone purchased any farida hussain outfits or kurtas plz? Really loving her designs but no idea about her price range.

Hey brummiebird, I have purchased several times from her..and i've ordered again a month ago from her summer collection, will get my order next month. I absolutely love her designs.
The fabric, stitching and colour everything is v fine. I don't know Farida Hasan personally, jst saw randomly their page on facebook and ordered.
Her price range starts from around 11 000 - 13 000 rps :) . The kurtas i think have the price range btw 7000-8000.

thanks for the update Ameeeraa. Her Kurtas and outfits look lovely but i wasnt sure if they'd look that good in real life. Did u order via her FB page and Would you mind sharing the photo of your outfits please? would love to see what they look like :)

I love her stuff too but when i checked i was quoted sky high prices 14k-25k for chikan/cotton shirts - i know they're embroidered but it was out of my price range for casuals, especially when i add in shipping costs etc :(

Girls, I've seen these kurtas and her other stuff at pfdc, Lahore . The chicken Kari kurtas are regular kurtas with embroidery, nothing out of the world. Her prices are way too much, even for the panelled cotton net shirts. The material of these panelled shirts was too stiff( for some shirts ) and you can't wear them without slip at all, which I found to be a musibat, in this heat.

And I am sure , these kurtas must be available at some other places too. She's not the only one selling them.

As lovely as her put together outfits are, all the materials are easily available at Pathan shops in lahore liberty/lahore center. And they aren't expensive either. Throw in some embellishments and machine embroidery and good tailoring. But 20-25 k for a shirt of that material is wayy over priced.

Wow those are very expensive. Like raania said, can be easily made in much lesser price range.

Thanks for responding ladies and sf your suit is so cute. The farida stuff does look very elegant and her combinations are lovely but im so plessed to hear that her stuff can b replicated and isnt as exclusive as I thought lol. Plz do post up your own versions once youve got them.

It was originally a lawn duppatta shirt with hand embroidery, aari ka kaam. I bought the printed fabric (borders) and the same color embroided cloth from bareeze and put together all these in a single pamelled shirt. I wanted to wear it casually, so all the fabric is lawn. You can go for formal look by getting nets , laces or cotton nets, etc.
