Muslims are advised to refer Islamic matters to people of Truth, honesty and integrity, and avoid figures promoting falsehood, corruption and controversy.
One blog on her is enough to discredit her good name why you had to come and post it here too ? Any particular reason. If she did something wrong with you in London take her to court there. How is posting your rant here help you or your cause ? If you were wronged you can get justice in a court in London not on GS.
I don't know much about dr. hashmi but this looks more like a propaganda campaign to me against her. Also after reading the fatwa text, it seems that dr. hashmi must be doing some good work. :). rest Allah knows best.
Her fault is that she is opening hearts and minds which out jahil mullah does not want to happen , that will hurt their business.
I do not agree with all her philosophy , I do not agree with many things she says , I also know that she is still in dark on many issues but I know one thing her lectures helped me to the extent that now when Quran is recited I know what is being said.
