Meet Farhan Saeed who is a polio victim since the age of two but still hold the passion and fire inside to play the game he loves the most, Cricket.
Farhan has been playing cricket since childhood as stated above that he is a polio victim so he uses his crutch to help him bowl. Farhan idealizes the speed star Shoaib Akhtar and wants to bowl fast just like him.
Farhan has the honor of meeting almost all the Pakistani players who are currently playing in the international level. Farhan has also played games at the domestic level in Pakistan.
This 26 year old guy from Karachi is a part of Pakistan’s handicap cricket team and believe it or not he bowls fast not like his ideal Shoaib Akhtar but the aggression he puts in his bowling matches to that Shoaib had in him.
Farhan says that his disability made him dream big. I remember people coming to me and saying doesn’t run you will fall down and hurt yourself.
I want to tell the world that be confident. Don’t look down. Your disability is your greatest strength fight for it and overcome your fears.
Farhan has now played against many countries and each one of the players whom he bowled just praised his efforts nothing less. They were happy over his performance and his passion is ignitable.
