This is a clip from Faraz Anwar’s Solo album released in 2001 called “An Abstract Point of View”. It’s a instrumental masterpiece, very much in the realms of a Steve Vai or Joe Satriani album. Beautiful Jazz Fusion inspired solos, and heavy rythms. The music is arranged in such a manner that it takes the listener through a journey. This is part of a 12 minute track called “Through the Passage of Time” split in 2 due to time constraints. A must have for any musician, or non-musican who enjoys technically arranged instrumental music. Enjoy.

Faraz has formed a band named MIZRAAB. They got few decent songs too. He is a talented guyf or sure.

Wow, I just heard some Mizraab songs from www.pakistanimusic.com and it's definately a far cry from his work with Dusk as well as his solo material. It's not bad, but it isn't guitar oriented, save a few solo's here and there. Interesting.
