i can help out for this if need be :)

can i suggest that run-outs and stumpings also carry some points in this tourney when its organized? same points as caught out perhaps...

For ODI's, there should be a factor for runs allowed by the bowler. Maybe 4 RPO will be neutral. Anything less will fetch that bowler 5 points per 0.5 RPO and anything over will reduce the bowler's points by 5 per 0.5 RPO.

For example, if Younis Khan decides to ball, and gets smacked for 12 runs in 2 overs, you will reduce 20 points from that fantasy team.

Its just 3 ODIs. The info is right on the score card. Its not rocket science.

Plus, I think in ODI's runs are very important. Right now if a bowler gets hit for 80 runs in 10 over, gets two wickets. Right now he gets 60 points (assuming 30/wkt). Instead he should be penalized for bowling poorly and be docked 40 points for giving away so many runs, and end up with only 20 points.

Good suggestions all around. I also think the maiden overs areimportant in high scoring one dayers. They can also carry 5 points.

I can help, if needed.

I think players should be awarded extra for scoring 50/100 or taking 5+ wickets.

Runs and wickets are already part of formula. Lets only capture stuff which is not currently included in the point system just to make it more interesting.

Bowlers economy rate was one, which I already talked about.

Batsmen's strike rate is another possibility. May be make 80 as neutral. Every 10 over will get them 1 point. Every 10 under will deduct 1 point. That will take care of 6's etc.

One other thing we can do, is ask fantasy leaguers to predict results of all three matches, one by one. Those who correctly guess the result of the match, get 50 points for each game. Those who don't guess correctly, get 50 point deducted for each match. :D Ties/rainout are neutral

I guess you guys are quite comfortable with it then count me in.

However, Faisal taking your given example it has happened quite often that a
Bowler on his best day falls victim to 'Umpires' stupidity, poor fielding, drop catches etc, is often made to look pathetic on the 'score card'.

Just a thought,,,
