So I found this venue that I absolutely LOVE for our mehndi. It’s exactly what I wanted (something FUN and Different!).
The best thing is that they can do an outdoor BBQ… which is even better. The only downside is that there’s no stage (which can be rented) and some of the older aunties and uncles will probably complain about the BBQ fare. But other than that I love and I’ve scheduled a walk through to see the entire place.
Anyone ever been to a wedding or any event there? Any thoughts??

I attended a formal event there. I loved the medieval look of the building, and the grounds are beautiful in the summer, surrounded by trees and gardens. It is definitely a very nontraditional mehndi venue, but aunties and uncles will complain either way. If you and your family are happy with it, then go for it! It is definitely a beautiful place!
Are you getting outside catering done? I remember the in-house food being pretty bland.

My main concern was the look of it because my sister was like you don't want it to look like they're attending a barn dance LOL.
I like the idea of their in house BBQ, its something different. I may ask them if we can switch it up to tandoori chicken or add some more indian sides but I just LOVE the bbq idea. I love the Cinderella feel for a Mehndi.
