haan haan ...keyun nahi ...bilkul ho ga fc but i need lot of help in data management. After all we have 16 teams and more than 50 games.

I'll will post few task for guppies to work on (simple data entry in excel) later today...... !! Who is here to help??

I think the FC should start when proper WC starts i.e. second round.

There are 2 main tasks

1) Create List of Players in each team
I want help in creating EXCEL SHEETS containing players for each team. Excel Sheet format should be



Player Name     Country Name        Player Type
Muhammad Yousuf     Pakistan        Batsman
Muhammad Sami       Pakistan        Bowler
Shahid Afridi       Pakistan        All Rounder
Kamran Akmal        Pakistan        Wicket Keeper

I dont want separate excel sheet for each team. Although single EXCEL SHEET having all the teams will be best but if its TOO MUCH work for one person, we can have 4 guppies work on it for teams in each group. So EXCEL sheet for each group will have players from 4 countries. Please use Players Types exactly as used in above example.

2) Create the list of matches in WC
Need to create the list of games in WC in following format



Game City/Ground        Start Date and Time     Teams               Group
Jamaica             03/13/2007 10:30am      West Indies v Pakistan      D
St Kitts            03/14/2007 10:45am      Australia v Scotland        A

It better be just one EXCEL file. Please make sure that all DATES AND TIMES ARE EST because application is programmed to work with EST times. In group column just use the LETTER and not the whole word like "Group A" and in Teams DONT USE "vs" for Verses instead just write "v"

So we need 5 guppies in all to help. Just post which ever task you are going to take care of so that others can pick different task and we dont end up in the situation where 2 guppies are working on same sheet at the same time.

DC, do you want the teams according to groups?
for e.g Group A (Aus, Ne, Scot, SA) followed by Group B... and so on....

^ Sort order does not matter. Actually i'll use the sheet to import the data into database. Just make sure that players from same team are clustered together.

If you want to do all 16 teams, just make one sheet for all teams and if you want to do 1 group, you can pick the group and create one sheet for that whole group

koi nahi bhaga :p do you want to wait till March 8 (ICC date to swap injured players) or you want the list instantly? and later you can update the players?
