FB will clarify it but my understanding is that once the thread is locked on 12 March no further alterations will be allowed. If one of your players gets injured you will not be allowed to change him. It is just like you wont be able to change players if your selected player is not in the final 11.
However, let FB confirm this.
The 12th man chosen by Raindnace does not count.
Also there will be different teams for ODI's and tests.

NO...As subject of that thread indicates .This is only for ODI.We will start new thread for test championship.This is because both the teams have different set of playes for TEST and ODIs.

If you have chosen Sehwag in your team and he takes wickets it will counted as sehwag's wicket and Sehwag and your team will be credited for that.
Similarly though Shoib Akhter is marked as bowler if someone picks him in his team he will get credit for all run scored by him. for that matter even points for catches will also be given to him.
Lots of people have not chosen their team correctly. I have sent PMs to those in which case I could see the issue.Still you are requested to read the rules and verify your team.If we figured out aftr 12th march that your team is not valid then you cannot even change it.
Common mistakes are..

1.Not sticking to rule: 5 batsmane,1 all rounder,4 bowler and 1 WK.
2. Not sticking to rule : atleast 5 player from each team.
3.Not sticking to rule : Stick to classification of players posted by me in that thread. If Afrid is all rounder in our classification dont pick him as Bowler or If Dravid is WK ..dont pick him as batsman.

f&b, they might've picked Shoaib Malik? And Malik is a pretty decent batsman. In fact he's more of a batsman than he is a bowler.
