Know of any famous Urdu broadcasters who’re currently producing news and current affairs programmes? e.g. from BBC Urdu, VOA or Radio Pakistan?

i think raza ali abidi still is, check out the bbc web page. i think i heard him a couple of years ago.

I like BBC Urdu and Radio Pakistan folks. They speak good Urdu and sound interesting for some reason. Unfortunately, I don't remember their names.

yes.. Mr shafi naqi Jamei is one of the most famous ppl still on board. He is pretty well known. Btw I am starting my trainibng there tomorrow, so u never know :).........(well If all goes well and the decide not to kick me out )

yup she is Naeema Ahmed mehjoor.
raza ali abidi left quit a while ago. I remember listening to his documentary on indus river as ‘sher darya’. they sure r like legends in radio.
never listened to Radio Iran/ VoG/VoA etc.
