haha yah their just jealous cus they had to marry someone their risheydar picked out, and probably had to dump their bf/gf. ahahahaha. it just sucks fo them, that they didnt have the guts u did not to listen to other people! good job!

with my cousins in pakistan(my mamous family) they dont think of us (my family here n i) as a big part, were always the last to know anything goin on in pakistan, and they dont tell us anything while its going on. with the exception of my 2 khalas. and than they all want to be a part of our life, and know everything going on w/ us, and than they get pissed when we dont tell them.
this has nothing really to do w. the thread but. this summer were goin to canada my dads whole side lives there, but we have never visited them (they come here once every 5 years) so my chachis family was like ooh look they go to texas to visit their mamou every year, ( and he's been there for like 5 years) and theyve never come to canada ( and my chacha's been there forever) ... haha n she was serious too...

^ me to, exept for a couple exceptions, my cousin in pakistan ( khalas daugther shes the only one who talks to me and we talk about everything. , and my cousins in texas (their 1 &2) ...
but i realized most of my other relatives dont care about us as much as i cared them and as much as i thougth they cared about us ,just a couple months ago. so im still kinda annoyed/ pissed, even though i shouldnt be.

I used to have alot of love and respect for other members, such as aunties or uncles or others, but as you get older you realise they are not what you thought they were. I`m just pissed at all the effort I used to make with them on my parents say so. Was a big waste of time.

u have seen both sides of the coin and being an educated person and from a good family u will for yourself and your kids have to decide what you want to do in your life....isn't that the decision your dad made when he taught you all that. :)

Same here. I’ve lived all my live without any close family around. I never had any cuz or anything like that around here. So thats why I don’t realy care what they think of me or say. But than again my family is pretty cool, they are not like that we can marry whom we want and do what we want and it does not bother them at all. I love my family
