I’m compiling songs for my wedding Cd/dvd coz I usually hate the song choices of videographers .
Could any one suggest some good **Family oriented songs ?
**The kind that can be used when people are meeting or when family pictures are being taken .
Some which I have down loaded are
kya kehna - aye dil laya hai bahar
Apno ka pyar kya kehna
Ek doosre se karte hain pyar hum
Ek doosre ke liye be quarar hum
Plz suggest some other songs my mind is kinda blocked

Go to bollywoodlyrics.com and from the menu on the left choose "family" - there should be some in there.....

Mira ksam - "From Waqt" (I don't know this - my friend just suggested it)
Yeh Betiyaan - From "Na tum Jano na hum"

I found a song from the movie hum tumhare hai sanam which is -
taaron ka chamakta gehna ho
phoolon ki mehkta wadi ho
us ghar mein khush hali aye jis ghar mein tumhari shaadi ho
also another addition to family songs is
phoolon ka taaro ka - from hare ram hare krishna
mere ghar ayee ek nanhi pari - kabhie kabhie

i've racked my brains......and thought about these:
"Upar Waleh Tera Jawab Nahi" - from 1980's film "Avtaar". I recall that this was a family song in the film.
"Kyun Hawaa" - Veer Zaara
"Ayeh ho meri zindagi mein" - Raja hindustani
"Taron ka chamakta" - Hum Tumhareh hai sanam
"Areh reh Aeh yeh kiya huwa" - Dil to Pagal Hai
I have some wedidng compilations at home, so will check those out later
