Family politics

Re: Family politics

Maybe not, it's good Pti lost. Her being on the political stage was negating a lot of things Pti had been standing for. The pro and against groups had basically divided the party into two camps.

Re: Family politics

For sure, this would be better for the party and would silence a lot of critics

Re: Family politics

Where did IK or PTI blame her for the defeat? I see nothing wrong with Reham accompanying IK in political jalsas or making bold statements (she has every right as citizen of the country). This happens in all democratic societies incl. the US and UK. But

**Reham does not hold any PTI position and should therefore resist VVIP protocol **(apart from basic security which she needs as wife of a party head in a volatile country like ours). **That much I agree with.

****However, I do NOT agree with IK here **Reham won’t attend PTI events in future, says Imran - Pakistan - DAWN.COM

Why should Reham be barred from politics? We have examples of Fatima Jinnah, BB & Maryam Nawaz in politics. Why should IK dictate to her what she should or shouldn’t be doing? This only happens in a male-dominated society. Reham is a bright and intelligent lady and she can speak and decide for herself. **As long as she doesn’t take over the party through a ‘will’ or without contesting party elections **what is so wrong with that?

And we seem to have double standards.

In NA 246 bye election, I insisted Reham come to Khi & visit NA 246. We wanted to challenge the fear factor & get women voters out to vote.*

He tried, at least. I thought such production required both parents.

Re: Family politics

I don't agree with this at all, she was requested by PTI candidate to deliver the speech as she belongs to that area otherwise she holds no party position and does not take any benefits from party. Media kept reporting that Reham has formally started her political career and she kept denying it. Media even reported that Reham was going to contest elections on PTI ticket in NA19??

Now that Imran has asked her not to even attend rally as it upsets many, he gets criticised for making Reham the scapegoat as if he is blaming her for defeat. Some people can never win no matter what they do.

Re: Family politics

nikalna khuld se adam ka sunte aye hain lekin
Baray bay-abro.ho ker teray kuchay say hum niklay..

I dont why this came to my mind...

I mean, if Reham Khan had her own heli ( if not jet) and have businesses which can donate to IK's party, then no way this would have happened...e.g. is Mr. Tareen...Aleem Khan..etc
.

Re: Family politics

Yes someone shared Omar qureshis tweets, a few months back he was earning RK's entry as nepotism and yesterday the same guy was calling her exit as male chauvinism

Re: Family politics

Media persons are busy find our tweets of her son, more than two years old. iK needs to be careful otherwise this marriage of his can also fail.

Re: Family politics

Don'r worry , No more so called honesty drama
They will be using hele and planes given by 'friends'
I can tell you for sure
There was never a friend of Imran Khan in his whole life
I don't know about Reham

Re: Family politics

Don't worry , This marriage will not end in their lives
Yeh to 'Kambal' hay

Re: Family politics

exactly…i have been saying the same from day 1…why cant she attend events. yes no special protocol for her but why banning her?

and what is more shameful is IK attitude. he himself admitted that poor reham attended these events because he and PTI leadership insisted reham to come visit NA 246 and then NA 119. so she did it. Now Imran instead of supporting her is abandoning her under public pressure. wah khan sahib wah.

Dont worry once Qasim brothers are gone back to london...Reham Khan shall be back with a bang....paywasta reh shajr say umeed-e-bahaar rakh

Re: Family politics

I think as regards Reham it is was a lose lose situation for IK. Ours is a conservative society, KPK (I do not want to generalise but you always talk about the majority) being more conservative than others when it comes to treating women. You cannot always win. Post 48](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=48) explains it well.
