Re: family law

I am not sure about the on-line source where you can get this info.
But Family Laws in Pakistan are totally based on Islamic Laws. Marriage and Divorce are processed in a total Islamic way (ofcourse exceptions are there e.g. when landlords kind of people manipulate it). I myself was married in pakistan for a few months. My ex filed a case against me. I didn't even have to go to the court because females are exempted. And I won it based on my Islamic rights.

Re: family law

You should state out your rights in the nikkah contract.

I know a friend whose husband married her because of family pressure. When it was clear that they would never be more than strangers (she stayed for three years) she tried to get a divorce but had a very difficult time.

Re: family law

yeah solar is right sadly and truly woman has to ask for her rights in nikkah nama for divorce...

where a man can simply go .. i divorce you , i divorce you and i divorce you ... there will no court case, no judge nothing- but if a female ask for it ---it will be a huge hangama ...
