He should not be hearing this case to begin with. How could anyone expect a judge to be objective in these circumstances? He should suspend his duties as Chief Justice [take leaves or retirement or whatever!] until investigations into this matter are complete.

Yes I second you that he shouldnt have been part of the bench deciding the case, but still its a bold decision. Time has come to punish the mafias (in this case Malik Riaz) along with his son so as to set an example.
