1: Some people might not like to be in the spotlight, infront of the camera, being surrounded by people, being judged by people/media, and losing their privacy.
2: Let's say the role is a very decent one (as you'd expect in a kids' show).
If you were given an opportunity to become famous and wealthy (legally!), would you accept the offer? Why or why not? If you're a parent, what would your decision be if the Disney Channel, for example, offered your child a role in one of the kids' shows?
Good questions...
Personally I would like to become famous after I have passed on from this life... or perhaps achieve fame while being alive but never truly known. One can become famous and wealthy without being known about... So if some person offered me a lot of wealth and fame I would decline no matter how good the offer.... I dont like the limelight on me all the time.
As for the second question I'm not a parent (yet) but when I do become a parent I would not want to expose my child to such things... if the child or his mother leaned towards that way then fine I will find my own path and they must find thiers.

If its legal and not against any moral guidelines...then I dont see a problem with it. I could do a lot of good with the money I make and help a lot of people through my success.
To answer the latter part of the post - no. I actually did think about this. If my child had talent, was offered roles of a lifetime and really wanted to do them...would I let them? Judging from what happens to most child stars...the answer would be an absolute NO. They could do some part time work if it was offered to save up for college - maybe and even then I would be attached to their shadow - but thats it.
alhumdolilah wr already well known in our community and the bank balance is good…but personally dont like to be in the limelight love to do the behind the scene type of work, thats why I,m here as a guppy, can let my hair down without showing my face…
and def no to the latter,no childhood stardom for my kids…

Ofcourse I will accept the offer as long as the money is coming legally.

Yes surely but depends on the role.
no and no.. I would rather be content than having to do any of it. Fame comes with a hefty price, wealth comes with lots of responsibilities.. I'll teach the same to my children and leave it up to them to decide.
I value my privacy too much, so I would not want to be famous. You can be rich without the hassle of fame, have you read those 'rich lists' you would not even recognise half the people on it.
As for my children I would not let them be on TV unless it was as a contestant on a kids game show, or preaching islam on one of those islamic channels. If they want to be famous when they are older then it's up to them.
