Faltoo Doctors

we born with books in hand.we were not suposed to be in sub-A group in the class.we never attend any social parties for the proud parents telling that we didnt come because of test.we put on binoculars and siver head instead of makeup.We are now in practice .Any where if seen by some known person we are supposed to listen his own or family or relative (or any one who is in his range of knowledge)'s health problem.Are we v.important o most faltoo persons?

so seems like your parents were to blame for your bad childhood by forcing you to be a parhakoo at the expense of other childhood experiences
you were to blame for your bad college years for not being able to take the stand and do something different
yo are to blame for letting ppl get to u when they ask for advise.

docs are not the only ones asked for advise in families and social settings, accountants, lawyers, businessmen, techies..all get annoying questions from ppl. They key is to try and not get into those, learn how to avoid it etc.

There is a joke a doc asked his lawyer pal
dude whenever I go to parties ppl as me for free medical advise what should I do.
lawyer said, just start giving them consultation bills
doc says.. thank you
lawyer says..and here is my bill

Learn to enjoy urself between the study sessions.

Too many people enter into this profession without knowing what they will be facing. You have gotta be emotionally strong if u want to survive it. Unfortunately, doctors are only a small part of healthcare business, just a part in a big machine, but one things go wrong doctors get blamed. I mean if a doctor has to see 40 patient in 5 hours, how much examining and explaining can he do? not much, so if anything goes wrong is it doctors fault, NO, its teh fault of those managers/govs that do not provide enough time to see patients. Then look at the intensive care services, tehy are always limited, very limited and doctors are given the responsibility to manage things with whatever resources that are available.

This is a profession in decline. Most doctors are unhappy, the age of retirement is going down, doctors either retire early or try to find a non-clinical job. 2/3rd of US doctors will oppose their children taking up a career in medicine. Very soon this will be profession dominated by third world people.

Shabash . . . now don't try to make my motivation down the drain. Been workin damn hard for this career n I know I will be BUT Alhamdullilah I enjoy every moment of it. Many ups n downs comes in between but it makes you even more stronger. I don't have any complains about this career so far ... ma be b/c im still a student. And I hope n pray (inshaAllah) for future it will be the best choice i made :-)
