Allright, i would like to use these to enhance my natural lashes which are very light. What kind are the best brand to use? can i put them on after priming my eyes with makeup and base?? what is the best way to put them on and make sure they dont fall off in the middle of the party?
I've seen them used on t.v. I'm sure for a wedding or a special party they'll help add extra drama to your eyes. They come in a kit with glue and instructions. It doesn't look too hard to put on.
The best ones to use are from MAC! They cost around £9.00 a pair here and they look totally natural. You cut them in half and then place them around the end of your eyes on top of your natural lashes, use the glue provided and then tweezers to stick them on. Brush a coat of mascara and then flutter away!!
You have to go to a beauty store/drug store yourself, and check them out cuz htey have ALL kinds of em. And follow the directions, its not as hard as it sounds.
i wen to a wedding once where the bride who was crying had her false eye lashes falling off the sides.. …that was a laugh..they are pretty hard to glue on …so caster oil at night help as long as you don,our eyes…:Pretty:
I use them for big weddings and mehndis. And once you get the hang of it, they're not so hard to put on. I prefer the drugstrore brands, like Ardell or Andrea. I cannot stand the MAC ones because they are sized way to big and look really fake. Definitely go for the ones that look somewhat natural. There are special eyelash glues and so far, I've never had a problem with them falling off.
Girls thanks a bunch for all the replies.
Those who suggested castor oil, i have tried that before and it got in my eyes and they got all blurry Also i need to use lashes for my wedding which is a month away InshaAllah so i dont have enough time perhaps to get longer lashes using castor oil by then.
I saw the MAC counter lady wearing false lashes and they seemed very unreal. I am sure they have enhancers as well where you dont want to look so dramatic ( i know i dont). I will check out drug stores as well.
Just didnt want them to fall off during the whole shadi reception, lol.
I dont like false lashes that come boxed in pairs.
They just look too fake.
I prefer individual lashes that come with a special glue
You use tweezers to pick up each lash, dip the end in glue and place it between yoru own lashes creating a very natural look
You can go crazy and add as many as you want or just a few here and there.
Then trim the ends to get the desired length.
the only thing is these lashes arent available from drug stores or normal cosmetic counters.
I had semi permanat eyelash extensions done before my wedding. They looked totally natural and lasted for around 6 weeks. I think the company I used was Jinnylash (www.jinnylash.com)
