False eyelashes

Hey everyone!

I went to MAC today and picked up #36. Came home and tried them and they make my eyes look smaller :frowning:

Can anyone suggest another set? I have naturally long eyelashes so don’t need too much to create an impact. Your suggestions will be appreciated :slight_smile:

run a search, there were a couple of threads where people recommended their fav false lashes.

i like revlon lashes for some added effect without being over the top or making my eyes look smaller/sleepy. i think a few other people liked them too.

This will be helpful to me as well! Would love the suggestions.

Also another question, when is it okay to wear false lashes? Evening parties on a regular bases? Or only for weddings and super fancy events?? Or whenever you feel like dressing up???

I find they add such a nice touch to your over all look in pictures, but I would feel strange wearing them for all the parties I went to? Unless its something thats popular?

Why don't you guys try individual lashes, they look really natural and not over the top. With individual ones you can wear them to parties and no one would suspect they're fake because of how natural they look :)

Cut them in half and use it on the outer corners naqsa..

^ that lift my eyes? The problem is that they make my eyes appear droopy and small. Not sure if my application is wrong or if I need to try something different.

you need ones that are fairly sparse, ‘lifted’ and longer at the outer edges. they will make your eyes appear wider.

if your eyes tend to turn downwards at the outer corners, don't glue lashes right to the outer edge, glue them a little bit farther from the end. This will give you a fluttery look with eyes turning upwards at ends-a more exotic look

Eyelash extensions are also a good idea. If you go to an eyelash technician and let them know what you want your eyes to look like, she will customize your lash application for you, and they will last 4-6 weeks. Its more expensive than false lashes, but look 100% more natural.
